The digging of Hmong graves at Wat Tham Krabok in October through December 2005 was videotaped by Hmong people who were still living at the temple site while awaiting resettlement. Please be aware that the videos contain some graphic scenes.

Video of Phothi Paowana Songkhroh Foundation’s Digging and Cremation Ceremony

The Phothi Paowana Songkhroh Foundation began digging Hmong graves at Wat Tham Krabok from October 26, 2005 -November 18, 2005. This video shows the foundation’s digging of Hmong graves at Wat Tham Krabok and the elaborate cremation ceremony of the remains. In this video, you will see the diggings of the deceased, the cleaning of bones, a deceased Hmong woman who has been petrified, and the cremation of all the remains.

Video of December 10, 2008 Consultation with the United Nations Expert on the Desecration of Hmong Graves

The Human Rights Program, along with elective officials and students, hosted a day long consultation hearing on the issue of Hmong grave desecration at Wat Tham Krabok with United Nations Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights and fundamental freedoms of indigenous people, Professor James Anaya.
